Outreach coordinates rides for those who require transportation to worship services on Sundays as well as special services or functions at the Church. Members who require rides or those who can provide transportation are requested to contact the person in charge.
A pastoral care team, made up of members of the Outreach committee along with the minister, visit with the shut-in members of our Church. If time permits, they also assist in taking members to doctor appointments and/or shopping etc.
Our church is called upon apporximately twice per year to assist in these meals put on by the Salvation Army at St. Andrews United Church. They are held on a Monday night from apporximately 4:30 - 5:30 pm and involve standing and serving meals during this time. Members of the Church are also asked to add their name to the list of volunteers.
